    THAT the Council of the Township of North Huron accept the agenda for the September 24, 2018 Town Hall Public Meeting; as presented.

Reeve Vincent called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Reeve Vincent welcomed the assembly.

Reeve Vincent provided an overview of procedures.

Reeve Vincent read a statement provided, regarding a delegation regarding an issue that is in the court system.  Council is unable to provide or take questions regarding this case.  

#1 Joe Sanders, read a prepared statement.  nine months since beginning.  no comment from council as it is in closed session.  no comment, no news.  quoted from NH statement.  Mr. Vincent no choice we had to proceed.  struggling family put through 9 months.  complain

was a copy of the petition forwarded to mr. x, so he could withdraw?

copies of records .. 

Vincent ... listen to your lawyer.  being on council is to follow all laws, bylaws of Ontario.  if you wish to change a bylaw, do so before 

 

#2 Rcik Mcllroy .. is this a building dept issue

Vincent.. if complaint is received, council will act.

why does the complaintant able to hide.

vincent... the head of council is to act as a judge

understand, but council needs to act. not hide behind cloak

CBO council who voted to pass this act.  have also altered this act, misrepresented 

questioned Yolanda as you sectioned motion ... charges .. what did you pass your decision on.

Yolanda... report and evidence brought forward

Dan Kitts ... policing arrangments 

Seip... taxes go down in the fourth year, unknow.  that is an unknown will be council at the time.  some of the savings should go back to taxpayers.

any new status on development on annexed land .  houses where to be built houses in kincardine area high.  is there a reason people aren't moving to wingham.

A2A has an extension to their project.  no alot of moving that has come to council.  developers must be willing to come forward. 

Kitts - taxes are way to high in Wingham.

is there any swimming pool another crack in it.

 

Doreen Taylor... complaining about the shape of roads.  there is a huge crown on Nature Centre Rd.  Moncrieff road potholes.

reeve vincent... fill in a complaint form.  crowing may seem an over kill, but it is a process. that needs to be worked on.  

i understand that,  what is going on at scott line... there are mounds of dirt

Ken Marks ... whats changed in the last 20 years. previous public works staff new how to operate a grader and snow plow.

reeve vincent ... i know what itis like to live on a gravel road. d

sean ... municipal staff is working diligently to reshape and bring the roads to a standard .  new staff has been hired with experience.  new culverts, new ditches, better water flow.  encourage to call office 

 

sandra bos ... sept 4th mtg doreen spoke to speak to road issue.

her and husban

d severed original property.  not an animal welfare issue, all in good practice not nutrient management issue.  provincial statute states all in compliance.  not looking to discuss bylaws.  why is council altering provincial law.  why is council and Reeve vincent 

there was little discussion on what he could do on the farm.

when severance was happening, did you read all the rules of application.

 

John Stadleman... when will there be comman sense snow blowing in Blyth. when it snows, we need the streets cleaned. perhaps we were spoiled with previous staff.  

vincent blyth allways did have streets cleaned.  they are pulling 2 staff from EW to clean Blyth.  Previous snow plow operators were very good

sean .. staffing levels, snow plowing equipment.  reports coming forward.

vodden ... blyth has had a clearing of streets.  concerns raised with other areas of twp.    PW realized that streets are very narrow. 

seip ... council has asked for report from PW and it will be coming fwd

 

Errma deVries.... carter of rights.  practice of religion .  do you understand the history of the Amish.  The were kicked out of the home lands.  they live quiet dlives and will help anyone.  we are here to stand up for Amish.  the neighbours will be there.  they will be pursacuded.

neil ... council office.  reads legal .  rules and regulations,   provincial grants are cut.  

still sitting on council.  covering oath of office.  

 

 councillor stewart... not understanding the issue fully as only on for a short time.  council is under litigation.  as the young family.  not a racist
